Our client is a human-sized consulting firm, specialized in the QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing/Management) transformation of organizations facing changing environments, to make them more agile in the face of competition, making variability a competitive advantage. This firm is a specialist in its sector. In order to support its growth, we are recruiting its Transformation & Operational Excellence consultant (M/F)

Assignment :
The Transformation & Operational Excellence consultant supports QRM transformations at the firm’s clients by helping them from the diagnostic phase to understand the flows within their organization. He relies on the Sponsor and the Client’s Referents and other consultants of the firm to stimulate, support and animate at different levels of the company, the progress projects having an impact on the reduction of Lead Time. It thus develops the overall agility of clients, while respecting their cultures and their human qualities and contributes to their training, throughout the project phases.

Attributions:

Immerse yourself in the firm’s culture and values, QRM methodologies and tools used to manage transformations
Contribute to and complete pre-diagnostics in order to develop commercial proposals
Make the firm known through the methodology deployed in transformations (prospecting, social networks, webinars, etc.)
Support customers from start to finish in their transformation, by participating or leading COPIL meetings and by developing budget monitoring, customer reporting, invoicing, any reminders and additional proposals.
Train customers in operational excellence, Lean, quality, and QRM tools (5S, flow analysis, 5M problem solving method or 5 whys, experience plan, MCT mapping, QRM POLCA, and other QRM principles etc.)
Communicate effectively; promote the culture of questioning the existing to do better together, more fluidly, in all customer departments and functions
Collaborate with Sponsors, Referents and client employees to identify improvement opportunities that have an impact on the reduction of Lead Time, Quality, service level and the availability of human capital and equipment; coordinate, prioritize and ensure that the overall action plan is followed.
Ensure that improvement projects are well managed using robust methods (PDCA, 8D) according to defined priorities. Example: pose the problem, definition of the objective to be achieved, constitution of the multidisciplinary team, identification of the causes, launch of priority actions, evaluation of effectiveness.
Follow up on each project team to identify obstacles and propose simple and robust solutions.
Set up with the client’s teams, rituals and animation of meetings at short intervals in order to give meaning, better communicate and develop more desire to change the functioning and initiative capacities among employees.
Accompany the client’s referents and HR to build a communication plan around the successes generated by the QRM project
If necessary, define standard progress indicators such as Transition Time, Versatility and Polycompetence Monitoring, Series Changeover Time, Preventive Maintenance and other fluidity-enhancing indicators.
Accompany the referent of the animation of the client’s projects to build the transversal management of the projects and support him in the animation in order to better coordinate and interact on the milestones.
Share best practices, develop a certain emulation within the firm through bi-annual meetings with other consultants.
Contribute to the construction of a knowledge base on QRM and operational excellence by developing a range of training courses adapted to the needs of the firm’s clients.
Coach, if necessary, the continuous improvement project teams of the clients and the continuous improvement managers in order to help them achieve their objectives
Take responsibility for other projects as needed by management

For this position, we are looking for:
A generalist engineer (M/F) with 10 to 15 years of industrial experience in operational management functions (Plant management, Supply chain, operational excellence) with good knowledge and practice of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
Good managerial experience having supervised teams of 30 to 200 people, and ideally confronted with small and medium series and organizational or operational transformation
A good knowledge of Lean tools such as HOSHIN, VSM, 5S, TPM, PDCA, 8D, 5 Whys
Knowledge of SAP-type ERP
Fluent English
Ability to work in home office and with clients of the firm.
Frequent travel mainly in France and abroad on an ad hoc basis depending on the assignments
